On 11 May, the members of the consortium met in the presence of the monitor assigned by the EC to supervise the tasks and monitor the actions of the Life eggshellence project.
After the meeting, they were able to attend the first tests carried out in the company Agotzaina S.L., where the prototype built by the company Maince S.L. is installed to separate the egg membrane from the shell, obtaining the bio-carbonate through a conveyor belt that will later be incorporated as a secondary raw material to replace calcium carbonate mineral in ceramic tile compositions.
